"I want to thank all the coaches I've had at HVC; without them I wouldn't have made it this far. They saw potential in me when I didn't see potential at all, helping me break out of my shell. Now, I'm so excited to meet a whole bunch of different people. I'm also thankful for all the teammates I've had over the years."

Hurricane Volleyball is a competitive and affordable club. The coaches at Hurricane Volleyball Club care for each and every single one of their athletes and make it a priority to turn their athletes into the best they can be on and off the court. I was able to be a Hurricane for the last three years, and each year, I saw major improvement in my skill level and my mentality. I attended private sessions, camps, clinics, and open gyms.

It is amazing that HVC is able to give athletes the opportunities they do to learn and improve! Without the amazing club director and coaches, I may not have been able to play in college; for that, I am very thankful to have these wonderful people in my life, teaching me new things each time I step on the court. Thank you to everyone at Hurricane Volleyball Club who helped me reach one of my greatest goals!

Alexandria Brown

“Even though I only had one season with HVC, I am beyond grateful that these are the people I finished my high school volleyball career with! Coach Griffin helped me push myself to be the best that I can be! During my time with HVC, I have grown as a person and an athlete, and I have gained many friends who have became family. This coming school year, I plan to begin my collegiate career at Rockingham Community College where I will be finishing my Welding Technology degree! Thank you to everyone at Hurricane Volleyball Club who helped me reach this goal!”

Haley McGee

Bluefield University, VA

Right Side, Class of 2026

“Without HVC being so affordable I would not have played travel club season at all, so for that I am very grateful. The coaches at Hurricane Volleyball Club care a great deal about all the athletes so much they are willing to go to extra practice and sessions to help their athletes improve their skill. Without HVC, I would not be playing in college. I am forever grateful for Hurricane Volleyball Club to have got me where I am today, and I will never be able to thank them enough!”

Abigail Maldonado

Montreat College, NC ____ Transferred to Randolph College, VA

DS/Libero Class of 2026

15 Regional, 16 Regional, 18 National

“Hurricane Volleyball Club is truly a competitive and affordable club, and they make it a priority to turn athletes into the best on and off the court! I played with Hurricanes for 3 years, and each year, I not only saw myself grow but those around me achieve many personal goals. I attended private sessions, clinics, camps, and open gyms with HVC to become a better athlete, and it allowed me to create relationships with other athletes at different levels and get to know my coaches. I saw people fail including myself but the team was always right behind me to catch me when I fell. HVC has taught me to be selfless and patient when learning. There are extreme levels of encouragement that you receive from your teammates make the game so much more than just playing volleyball. You’re not only paying to play volleyball; you’re paying for the lifelong friendships, memories, and lessons taught. From HVC I was able to achieve one of my biggest goals— to play volleyball at the college level!! I took time and a lot of effort to get where I am but I couldn’t have done it without the supportive family at HVC!”
