HVC SPONSORSHIPS & SCHOLARSHIPS

Hurricane Volleyball Club is a travel volleyball organization that is focused on providing young athletes with a competitive and affordable club experience that will prepare them for collegiate athletics. Our club was founded in 2018, and we are operating out of the Hartley Drive YMCA in High Point while providing camps and individual training in Greensboro. 

The gym we have been able to use is crowded and hasn’t been updated since summer 2000. Our athletes are using a net which has caused injury to staff while assembling. Our volleyball players dodge basketballs that come on our court and have been injured from this. With the money that we are raising, we will be updating and outfitting one of the gyms at the YMCA to have two to three volleyball courts, and our athletes will be able to train without needing to share the space with other sports. With updated court equipment with new posts, nets, padding, etc., it will allow for more safety in the environment as well. We are grateful to be able to use this facility, and we know that helping the Hartley Drive YMCA in fundraising will not only help our program, but it will help all the programs that use the YMCA in the future as well! 

· Hurricane Volleyball has a growing web presence at 1.15 k impressions in June and over 1.12k in July. This year, we are growing our program by 300-400% reaching over 100 families for our teams alone (not including private lessons, camps, clinics, and other training offerings).

· Donating to youth sports organizations helps your community. In athletics, our focus is not just to make competitive athletes, but to create great citizens. By helping our program, you are giving young athletes the tools they need to pursue their dreams, to learn the value of respect and accountability and good work ethic, and to be a part of an organization that values and encourages them.

Our club is needing sponsors for this year. This will provide our club with two things 1) the updated and safer gym space that is volleyball specific, and 2) scholarship for athletes who are unable to raise the funds needed to participate in club sports. 

Full Team Sponsorship: $500

- Sponsor name/logo on team’s practice/warm up shirts

- Business Name/Logo/Information on our website, social media pages, and YouTube 

- Business will be put on a sponsorship banner in the gym

Partial Sponsorship: $300

- Sponsor name/logo on team’s practice/warm up shirts

- Business Name/Logo/Information on our website, social media pages, and YouTube

Full Athlete Scholarship: $700

Half Athlete Scholarship: $350

- Special Mention on all social media sites and YouTube thank you from our program

The money is first going to help the YMCA furnish the new court space with court gear (lines, nets, posts, padding, etc). Any additional funds will go toward scholarships for athletes. If sponsors wish to include additional donations, they can allocate them so that athletes will get additional gear options (such as a duffle bag, personal volleyball, shoes, etc). 

Yes! You can definitely sponsor or scholarship more than one! You can also add extra funds to be allocated for additional gear for the team you sponsor or the club in general!
